Created in 1920, the Aéro-club d'Auvergne is an association that aims to promote the practice of amateur light aviation. It’s led by a team of volunteers and brings together more than 140 members around a common passion. The club has 6 single-engine aircrafts and offers different services: Air rides, initiation flights, first plane experience...
The Aero-club also offers several training courses : Brevet d’Initiation Aéronautique, BREVET ULM and Private Pilot Licence in order to discover the world of aviation and learn to fly.

Aéro-club Clermont Limagne
The Aero-club Clermont Limagne (ACL) is an association created in 1901, which originally realized the construction of aircrafts in an amateur way but which gradually opened to the different activities of an aeroclub: practice of aerial sports, first plane flights, mechanical workshops, private flights… The club has 7 engines including 1 made available by the company Jodel.
The Aero-club Clermont Limagne is also a flying school that offers various training courses such as: Licence de Pilote d’Avion léger, Licence de Pilote Privé, BREVET ULM or Brevet d’Initiation Aéronautique. The association is in partnership with 3 high schools and colleges located in the region.
